About this deal

During this time, I was able to put the Logitech G535 through its paces on such games as Hell Let Loose, Escape From Tarkov, Cities: Skylines, and Monster Hunter: Rise, noting down any issues or praise along the way. It was only much later that we even bothered to enable Windows Sonic, the inbuilt virtual surround tool found in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

With that being said, I noticed a small bassy punch in the overall profile, which helped to emphasise the lower-end of songs a little more, with the bass brought a little further forward. The 40 mm drivers in each ear blast out high-quality sound, providing good levels of volume and base. The Logitech G535 look similar to other headphones in the LIGHTSPEED lineup with rectangular ear cups and a mostly black plastic frame. Logitech G is their official brand for gaming peripherals dedicated to providing gamers with the best possible gaming experience through superior products and industry expertise.

The mid-range gaming headset market is reasonably saturated, with the likes of Razer, Corsair Turtle Beach, SteelSeries and EPOS all vying for your hard-earned cash. If you’re looking for a comfortable and wireless gaming headset that won't burn a hole in your pockets, then the Logitech G535 Lightspeed Wireless headset could be the one for you. Outside of that, though, the overall voice quality of the Logitech G535 is decent, if not overly impressive. I tested it with my PC and PlayStation 5, and with both I experienced a solid, reliable connection with ultra-low latency. The group delay falls below the audibility threshold, resulting in tight bass and transparent treble reproduction. It's a great sound, all said, and one that has a stereo/spatial presence, which can be immediately heard when listening to music. Instead, Logitech has gone for a good old-fashioned plug-and-play philosophy, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you prefer simplicity. The G535 Lightspeed’s connectivity is as easy as it could possibly be too, with a single USB-A dongle that instantly recognized the headset when plugged into my PC.

Their companion software also offers customization features like a graphic EQ plus presets to help you adjust their otherwise neutral sound to suit your tastes. Surprisingly, my discord audio testers reported that the cheaper headset’s mic was a little bit clearer sounding! It's limited to PC and PlayStation, and the microphone is not detachable, but it certainly lives up to its namesake. You can use the headset while charging, but the USB receiver will need to remain plugged in, so plan your ports accordingly.

Trusted Reviews’ holds the fact that global warming is not a myth as a core value and will continuously endeavour to help protect our planet from harm in its business practices. Some of Logitech’s more premium headsets feature additional mic control, with Blue Voice integration, and it may have been nice to see that here, for instance. All this aside, these are definitely worth checking out if you're a PC, PlayStation, or Xbox gamer on the hunt for a simple (but good) pair of cans. Equipped with Logitech's Lightspeed wireless technology, the G535 gaming headset delivers up to 12 meters of range and 33 hours of battery life. The headset’s frame is made entirely of painted plastic, and I wouldn’t count on it withstanding too many drops.

Audio is nicely balanced, although with a degree of low-end punch that’s especially useful in FPS games. The Logitech G PRO X WIRELESS LIGHTSPEED Gaming Headset and the Logitech G535 LIGHTSPEED Wireless are similarly performing gaming headphones, so depending on your preferences, you may prefer either one. The black-coated plastic is subtle, and the lack of flashy RGB lights is actually something that I appreciate.
