About this deal

This bright, beautiful, chunky board book stands out with its examples of all the wonderful things Mums do with their babies; helping them to have fun, feel safe, discover the world around around them and, most importantly, showing them them how to love. I Love My Mummy has been endorsed and recommended by Dr Amanda Gummer’s Good Toy Guide, and is the perfect gift to share on Mother’s Day. Since we started reading this book Dylan’s been more cuddly and so I think maybe it’s helping him express his feelings more. Whatever the reasons, this cheery picture book explores the relationship between a mother and her toddler through a simple rhyming text about everyday experiences with which small children will be very familiar. Emma lives in Surrey with her husband and two children and their terrier cross, Buzz, who keeps her fit and provides inspiration.

With 'Why I Love My Mummy,' you can create lasting moments with your mummy and remind her of how much she means to you. This book is written from the point of view of a small child who talks about all the many reasons why he loves his mommy.ISBN: 9781529088199 Author: Forshaw, Louise Publisher: Campbell Books Publication Date: 2nd February 2023 Imprint: Campbell Books Cover: Other Dewey: 823. This charming book is a perfect gift for any occasion, whether it's Mother's Day or just a special day to celebrate the amazing bond between a child and their mummy. The theme of the book is good and the phrases are almost short enough that you can read a page before baby quickly flips to the next page. I know it's for kids, but since my child can't even comprehend language yet, it was just a little too simple for me. The first in a new series of picture books from the phenomenally successful children's TV series Puffin Rock is as cute and appealing as you would expect - and a great bedtime choice for any young fan of the show.

She has illustrated bestselling Noisy Noisy series for Ladybird Books and, with author Giles Andreae, won a Book Trust Early Years Award in 2010 for I Love My Mummy. It would make a lovely baby-shower gift or the perfect present from a little-one for their Mummy on Mother’s Day. Giles has written many award-winning and best-selling children's books, including the global classic, Giraffes Can't Dance.

Nice book about reasons children love their mums, although the same could be applied for any family member if a child has an absent parent. This book has sentimental value for me as I have read it with all three of my children and they have all loved the closeness of reading it together and reaching out for hugs and kisses as the animals do on each page. Seriously though it was a nice rhymy type of book about mum and her baby that I and my daughter enjoyed.

Giles lives with his wife, Victoria, a children's clothes designer, and their four children by the river in Oxfordshire. Join our community to get personalised book suggestions, extracts straight to your inbox, 10% off RRPs, and to change children’s lives.

Shortlisted for the Booktrust Early Years Awards 2006, Braun's simple and sensitive picturebook will reassure even the youngest readers. It's a chance to express your love and appreciation, and let her know just how special she is in your eyes. These two ranges of greetings cards, books and merchandise have made Giles the country's top-selling living poet.

This book can be used for a Mothers day activity, getting children to think about what nice things do our mothers do for us? In potentially threatening situations, such as the forest or water, the animals emerge from a darker left into a bright, safe right-hand spread, dominated by the mother. Other things I wasn't thrilled about was that the kid was drinking a milk shake and just didn't seem disciplined that much.
