About this deal

Being trap in their world, Roxy gets to know each brother and their demons just as they get to know hers. I felt all this deep in my soul and believed in the portrayed dynamic of all the characters involved. There's no peeling back the layers to figure out why Roxy is this way--or the guys are--for that matter. Downright dirty and the characters were really well developed however there was a few things which I didn’t like. Kenzo also is a master at games and runs several illegal casino’s, he can also can throw down when needed.

Ryder ultimately feels responsible for his fellow Vipers, he also needs control worried that he will become his father. I can’t listen to this, I’m literally imagining the guys to be in their 60s and roxy to be in her late 30s with the voices. I will throw in that most people that recommended this book read physical copies, so maybe it is because of the creepy old man and his terrible narration (especially Diesel's voice). To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Through it all, she thought she could escape their grasp but instead, they fall for each other deeper. She isn’t afraid and she likes pain so she is able to stand up to the four hot as sin, tattooed tough guys that take her.

I can tolerate a book with some pretty gruesome content as long as it fits within the parameters of the story and isn't just done for shock value. Storyline/My Thoughts: I’m going to admit, too, that this book was not a favorite, but I did like some aspects of it.

Between the female character and male characters, you will find yourself wanting to binge-read at times, laugh, cry, and cheer for the female character at times too. When Roxxane's estranged father who she ran away from in her late teens gets in over his head in a gambling debt with the Vipers the cities Mafia, he settles it by handing his daughter over to them. Yes, she does fall head over heels in love with them, and very early on (by around page 60) she even fantasises about them, but Roxy is painted on the blurb, and at the beginning of this book, as a woman who isn't pushed around by anyone.

at one point the “nice” guy of the bunch rapes roxy and the psychopath guy can’t believe she would even think to blame the nice guy. I actually do like really dark stories and the fact that so many of the negative reviews were complaining about it being too dark made me want to read it more. Maybe this was just a genre of dark romance where I put my foot down, but it was RAVED by so many on the reviews and is so popular that I REALLY was surprised at how atrociously it was written. Roxy resents them for holding her as their debt, and the guys have different levels f interest not only because of her looks but also because of her will and ability to fight and her ability not to cower to four of the most powerful and feared men of the city.I'm English so listening to these voice actors is particularly painful for me, I cannot deal with the terrible voice actors so I can't even finish it, they sound like cockneys in their early 60s and that's being nice, I feel like the voice actors watched Oliver twist for reference of an English accent and were like "yeah, I could do that" no one speaks like this in the UK unless you're a born and bred cockney and even then to sound remotely like this you would have had to have been alive during WW1.

All the main characters are brilliant on their own but put them together and you get a book full of laughter, adventure, HOT sex, love and loyalty. However, I liked seeing her evolve as we get more of her backstory and see where the story progresses. Knight gives us a dark reverse harem that might leave you questioning a few things about yourself and might leave you with a new kink or two. It ruined the whole story, I could not listen to the story because I spent the whole time listening to the mis-pronunciation of every other word.I literally binge read this I was that invested, one of my stand out reads this year and just maybe one of my favourite reverse-harem reads ever.
